A Poet's Memoir! Collection of Dhruv Pandya's Poems

    Recently one of my friends(who shall remain unnamed and hails from the house of Ravenclaw) reached out to me with a pressing subject that I had discussed with him on multiple occasions as a concern, "The purpose of my existence". Sounds like a superficial worry, not for us! We have discussed this subject for hours from the miles-long walk on the university campus to the buzzing streets of Beverly hills. Anyways, he expressed the same concern about "why does he exist?" "What is the purpose of life?" "Are we doing the right thing in life?" These are the same questions I asked him and he returned them to me personalizing them with his label! Well, as it was his worry now, I tried to do some introspection and concluded with one derivation which has always been a strong modus operandi for my life, id est, to Serve Silently. Serve for those with no voice, no benefits, and no representation. I would love to just be there and serve without any recogn...

Or look for the memories in the former past isle? શ્રી ગણેશાય નમઃ  ક્યારે થશે રાત ... આ કવિતા મેં ૨૦૧૮, અમેરિકા સ્થિત સીકોયા ના જંગલ માં લખેલી. હું બે દિવસ જંગલ માં તંબુ બાંધી ને રહ્યોતો, અંગ્રેજી ભાષા માં કેમ્પિંગ (Camping). સીકોયા ના જંગલ એના મહાન, ઊંચા અને જાડા વૃક્ષઓ માટે જણાય છે. આ જંગલ માં રીંછ અને હરણાં પણ મોટી સંખ્યા માં છે. વિશ્વ નું સૌથી મોટું વૃક્ષ અહીં આવેલું છે. ૯૦૦૦ ફટ ની ઊંચાઈ પર જયારે અંધારા માં આકાશ ને જોવો ત્યારે એની રચના કરનારા ને કેમ ભૂલી શકાય? આ કાવ્ય મેં તાપણાં ના પ્રકાશ માં લખેલું. અપ્રતિમ અનુભવ !! સૂર્ય નો ઢળતો પ્રકાશ અને વાદળો છે ઊંચા  વૃક્ષ છે જાડા અને લાંબા પણ પાન એના છુંછા પક્ષી કરે કલરવ અને હરણાં જોવે મોટી વાટ આ પારકા દેશ માં રામ જાણે ક્યારે થશે રાત  તાપણાં પાસે બેસી હું માહા અગ્નિ ને નિહાળું  ગરમી ચાલુ રાખવા વીણેલા લાડકા હું બાળુ ઘના વન માં આ અગ્નિ જાણે પ્રભુ મારા તાત  આ પારકા દેશ માં રામ જાણે ક્યારે થશે રાત ઝરણું જાતું નીચે નીરનું, રીંછ શ્રીમંત ચાલે મોટા  પવન ના સિસકારા ફૂંકે, બોલે શબ્દો સાવ ખોટા...

A Dunce's Vision We all are dunces, in-out of our desire to understand the vision. Our vision to fulfill our life's purpose. During that journey, we are often distracted and spend our life narrowing down to one achievable goal. Your heart knows what it desires from the beginning, and looking in your heart can be fruitful. For me, it's GOD who lives in my heart. and hence in this poem, my dunce asks GOD what would be his vision for Dunce's life. It's then when he finds peace and grace. I hope you enjoy and like it.  There was a happy traveler once at learning life, he was a dunce. He set out to seek life's purpose super confident with heart nervous First, he looked at the north horizon and thought this is worth a vision A vision, to be like the bright sun be radiant and bright unlike anyone Like the Sun! he proclaimed, looks south his eyes see the rain with open mouth. શ્રીગણેશાય નમ The Old Merry Band With prayers of health and prosperity for all, I present The Old Merry Band. Possibly the longest poem I have written so far and yet it feels incomplete. I could have written and described so much. But, it is usual for me to critique my own work mercilessly. With all going around us, I started imagining, what a simple life would be without criteria and difference. I sometimes believe with aspirations to be the most innovative and superior generation which by the way is like a chain reaction passed on by generations before, we as humans messed up. It's the Journey of Bacteria to Beethoven. Was it absolutely necessary? who knows? શ્રી ગણેશાય નમઃ આજ ના માણસ ની મનોવૃત્તિ "મુખ મેં રામ બગલ મેં છૂરી " ને ખુબ સારી રીતે દર્શાવે છે. આજ ના જમાના માં, જે મોટું અને ઊંચું બોલે એજ સત્ય નું ઘડતર કરે છે જે ખુબ ખોટું છે. . સત્ય એ નારાયણ છે, આજન્મ અને અવિનાશી. પણ કલયુગ માં તો નારાયણ ને પણ અપને પરમઅંશ માં થી હયાત વસ્તુ માં ફેરવી દીધા છે. ફાવે એમ આપણે ગુરુ ગ્રંથો અને વેદ ગ્રંથો નો સગવડીયો ધર્મ પણ બનાવી દીધો છે.   માયા અને લોભ ના લીધે આપણે કોઈક જાત ના ભય માં હંમેશા રહેતા હોય છે. એ અવચેતન ભય આપણને કેવી રીતે વર્તાવે છે, સુ કરાવે છે, અને અંત માં એ કેટલો હાનિકારક છે. જાનવર એની પ્રકૃતિ ક્યારેય નથી છોડતો. ગુસ્સો આવે તો બચકું ભારે અને પ્રેમ આવે તો વહાલ કરે. તેથીજ એ શુદ્ધ છે. માણસ જો ઈશ્વરે ઇચ્છેલી પ્રકૃતિ માં પાછો નહિ આવે તો અંતે એ નાશ પામશે. તો વિચારવા જેવી વાત એ પણ છે કે આજ ના માણસ નો અપડે કેવી રીતે જોઈએ છે? જિદ્દી, વધુપડતી આત્મશ્રદ્ધા, હું કાવ એજ સાચું, પૈસો મારો પરમેશ્વર અને હું પૈસા નો દાસ અને બીજી ઘણી બધી "ખૂબી" આજ નો માણસ દર્શાવે છે.  આ કાવ્ય માં આજ ના માણસ ના ગુનો નું વર્ણન કરવા માં આવેલું છે. ...
