The Grand Canyon
I am on a trip to Grand Canyon,AZ. Such a motivational and beautiful place! Creator really took his time and dedication. Teddy Rosevelt said “ In the Grand Canyon, Arizona has a natural wonder which is in kind absolutely unparalleled throughout the rest of the world. I want to ask you to keep this great wonder of nature as it now is. I hope you will not have a building of any kind, not a summer cottage, a hotel or anything else, to mar the wonderful grandeur, the sublimity, the great loneliness and beauty of the canyon. Leave it as it is. You cannot improve on it. The ages have been at work on it, and can only mar it.”
I cannot agree more. I also view this as a constant message of God. This is a red rock canyon and such every bit of pattern and differences are beautiful together. Similarly if us a human race in our true identity embrace our differences we too can stand tall and accomplish much greater good. Unity in Diversity makes us strong. No brother/sister will be on street asking for food and clothes, no one will sleep without a blanket and roof, no one will have to die in lack of adequate medical treatment. Also, interesting part is we have to see down on grand canyon to gaze on the it’s magnificence and yet we have so much respect, astonishment. You do not have to always look up in respect! It’s the quality and the message your life gives! I hope you enjoy the poem.
Traveling on the snow ridden roads full of hope
Clinging strongly against winds on the sunshine rope
Heading towards the site which Displeases none
The natural Marvel which is called the Grand Canyon
Red canyons so beautiful they talk to you creation
Surprise on the face is the only correct reaction
Deep so deep the canyons their depth is surprising
Craters alike reflects the crescent moon and its shining
People look down with respect and joy, very astonishing ..
Looking up only gives you clear blue sky binding nothing ......
Canyons teaches me to be distinct, strong and combine its diverse aspects
Walking on this path will benefit the society and earn you respects
Red rocks different in colors and patterns together, such a vibrant band!
Learning from the Grand Canyon will only the human race stand!
