Hello, all! I would like to start my first blog this year by bowing down to the Lord and my mother. For many days this blog haunted my conscious, as if it was telling me to come back and start writing(Warning: The posts which were posted earlier were 9 years back and was work of a teen :-) ). So now the time has come for me to write ! in spite of being mediocre in the English language.
So Faith in God! What is to have faith in God? Is it easy to walk with the Master on an unknown path? Well, my dear American Mother Mary just answered that for me today morning or I must say she enlightened me as she always does. Faith is when you stop saying "Please " to God and start saying "Thank You" to him. In many favorable/unfavorable conditions, a human being is baffled with what is going around him/her. In those situations what are we supposed to do? I am going to write this in a very easy manner or at least in the way I understand.
I define those situations as a " First Encounters of a Child". When a child opens eyes for the first time and gazes upon those happy and smiling faces, the look of confusion and surprise that exists at that particular time remains constant throughout one's life only the scenarios change. We have no shame in telling our father when we are scared to see a Ferris wheel for the first time or let's say when we see a crowd our Father knows that we are scared and picks us up and carries us out of that crowd. At that moment we do not question his judgment we believe in him and we know for a fact that our father is the strongest person. Navigation through the crowd, all the pros, and cons for getting through a crowd are beyond our intelligence and we trust our father blindly. For me that is faith.
As I mentioned earlier only scenarios change, and in each and every scenario my father who art in heaven guides me through.In Mahatma Gandhi's words: " Everyone has faith in God though everyone does not know it. For everyone has faith in himself and that multiplied to the nth degree is God. The sum total of all that lives is God. We may not be God, but we are of God, even as a little drop of water is of the ocean ". I believe in those words. In upcoming days I will write on faith and my walk with the master. I am ready with my seat belts on! Bye and May the force be with you :-)
